National COSH reveals its annual list of companies failing workers’ safety and rights. The companies are listed in alphabetical order.

 

  • Alliance Ground International (AGI) has a workforce of 12,000 employees at several dozen airports in the U.S. and Canada.

 

  • Cambria Company (not to be confused with the hotel chain) is a manufacturer of quartz slabs for kitchen and bathroom countertops and the like.

 

  • CommonSpirit Health is a $34 billion health system (i.e., hospital chain) with more than 700 units throughout the U.S.

 

  • Consolidated Catfish Producers has been a frequent target of OSHA inspectors, largely due to severe injuries to workers at its fish processing plants (the company’s products are sold under the Delta Pride and Country Select brands).

 

  • R. Horton, a Fortune 500 residential construction firm with revenues of $34 billion.

 

  • Hyundai Motor Group operates production facilities in the U.S. Southeast (primarily Alabama and Georgia).

 

  • Jeny Sod & Nursery is a Florida-based, family-owned landscape supply company catering to homeowners as well as landscapers.

 

  • LSG Sky Chefs is an in-flight catering company, which means its workers and drivers deliver products directly to airplanes before take-off at airports.

 

  • Maker’s Pride, formerly Hearthside Food Solutions.

 

  • Revoli Construction, a Massachusetts-based water and sewer line construction firm.

 

 

  • Fast food giant Subway accounts for nearly 20,000 franchise locations in the U.S. That franchise model, according to National COSH, has allowed the company to distance itself from the business practices of the individual franchisees.

 

  • Flooring products manufacturer Wellmade Industries.
