Waste Management for Multiple Sites
HazMat T&T can manage multiple sites using a single system, with support for inter-site waste transfers and including full manifest documentation if the waste is transported on a public road. The data from multiple HazMat T&T systems can be consolidated together for reporting purposes.
Remote access to waste tracking information
Users with appropriate security clearance can access web-based features for enquiring on waste and waste shipments. This is useful for authorities in emergency situations or useful for auditors in the event of an inquiry.
How HazMat T&T works
Waste tracking begins from the moment waste is created. HazMat T&T uses a unique system of pre-printed labels to track bags and waste containers at point of origin, enabling accurate departmental and cost centre analysis. Our solution generates full-color labels, including hazard symbols, that comply with US or European waste classifications. HazMat T&T integrates with weighing scales and other measurement systems to ensure waste quantities are recorded accurately and efficiently. And the system ensures that only compatible classifications of waste are combined together, helping to ensure waste is properly segregated.
Bar-coded labels or radio frequency identifier (RFID) tags are used to identify waste while hand-held computers with integrated barcode or RFID readers are used to track the movement of waste. These handheld devices link directly back to the central HazMat T&T server where all tracking information is available for enquiry and reporting.
The system records the loading and dispatch of waste containers and can generate and print manifest documentation for shipment.
Clinical and Medical Waste Management
HazMat T&T Healthcare Edition maintains a comprehensive database of your clinical/medical waste including sharps containers, bag waste and pharmacy waste enabling the production of shipment reports, EPA/EA reports, etc. Signed documents can be scanned back into the system so that a complete documentation history is always available. Invoiced disposal costs from your waste contractor are apportioned back to the department or ward that created the waste, enabling full cost center analysis against budgeted costs.
